Asia-Pacific’s premier annual trade event for alternative fuel transport will be held from 28-30 April at BITEC in Bangkok, endorsed by the Asia-Pacific Sustainable Transport Foundation and supported by the Ministry of Industry and the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau. The exhibition will also incorporate the award winning NGV Bangkok 2014; a TCEB recognised event launched in 2012, with attendees from 47 countries, supported by the Ministry of Energy and winner of the WMO Gold Medal for Quality & Service Award.

Around the world governments, automotive manufacturers, fleet operators and private vehicle users are demanding clean, sustainable transport. In response to this high demand, alternative fuel event specialists, Asian Exhibition Services (AES) Ltd. have launched AFT Asia 2014 to serve the Asia-Pacific region. The AFT Asia 2014 exhibition and conference will highlight the latest technologies, developments and policies driving alternative fuel transport into the next decade. Throughout Asia, particularly in Thailand, there are many alternative fuel vehicle options available besides CNG to include biodiesel, LNG, LPG, hybrids, ethanol and hydrogen applications, much of these were already strongly featured at the 2014 event in Bangkok.

“At NGV Bangkok 2014 there were a scope of alternative fuel technologies showcased so it was a natural development for NGV Bangkok to become part of a wider reaching event in direct response to the Asian buyers and vehicle manufacturers”, explained David Aitken, Managing Director of AES. “The model of AFT Asia 2014 incorporating NGV Bangkok 2014 is much the same model and profile as NGV Global 2014 co-locating with ACT (Alternative Clean Transport) in California in May 2014”.

AES are independent automotive event specialists with a global network. AES’s head office is in Bangkok and their international office, covering Europe and North America, is based in the United Kingdom. AES have specialist representative offices in India covering the Middle East and South Asia, in Shanghai to serve China and Buenos Aires for South America.

AFT Asia 2014 will be held at BITEC in Bangkok from 28-30 April.
